Tomorrow, February 12, 2015 I depart for Israel. I can't say I'm sorry to leave the snow, ice and bitter cold of Rochester. The weather in Israel was reported to me as a terrible dust storm to be followed by a weekend of rain. But who's complaining?
I am calling this latest blog "Rochester in Israel because while I am there I will be joining our P2G teachers mission in Modi'in. We also will meet with the large Rochester Mission from the Jewish Federation in our partnership city Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut.
One of my highlights will be seeing my oldest grandson, Shalom Tzvi, on his school trip in Israel. I will also connect with family, friends and many more.
